Round Table

I magine a company run by a group of executives so deeply bonded together that they are family-in the best sense of the word. People who not only listen extremely well to each other, but who have the courage and skills to ask the tougher, wiser questions. People who, because of the respect and support of this family, are genuinely healthy and truly effective leaders who can draw on their own life experiences to help and support their own professional colleagues.

This is the image of your company in the Round Table era.

It is the image of a company that has surpassed being merely good and even great to become truly extraordinary, a company where employees love to come to work. The goal is to be an organization where the culture is universally admired by customers, vendors and competitors. This is a company that, if it existed, would put your current company out of business. This extraordinary company begins with leaders who better understand each other and the employees who work with them. This is a company whose leaders have invested time and energy to create the opportunity for meaningful professional relationships and truly effective communication skills to develop in its most valuable and talented employees. It stands to reap strong emotional and physical health as an immediate return on its investment.

What is the Round Table?
T he Round Table grows out of the concept of Forum widely used throughout the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). YPO enjoys a very high level of participation in Forum by its membership (around 95%). In fact, most members list the Forum experience as the primary benefit of YPO. The Zink University Round Table captures the essence of Forum and translates it into the corporate arena, where members share not only a deeper bond but also a unified commitment to the one company they all lead. Leaders who have learned to listen acutely to each other generally do not replicate the mistakes made by other leaders in the same company. Providing a Table where deeper issues can be safely explored powerfully improves the emotional health of the top team of any company; improved emotional health dramatically impacts the physical health of the top team.

Why the Zink University Round Table?
M any companies could offer high quality facilitators to help with meeting and forum-type experiences. But no other organization offers the unique combination of experience, skill, and commitment of Zink University. Our faculty moderators offer an enviable combination of academic, practical and life experiences in the critical areas of business development and sustainment, ethics and values-based leadership, and family. All of this virtually guarantees that Round Table members will enjoy productive, effective, and personal growth sessions that will have them all looking forward to the next month. In short, we know how to help a group bond into a close-knit band of friends who will be deeply committed to supporting each other.
